Bouncer

Hi guys here are the different faces that could be used for the bouncer.



and here is the final Partial rotation of the bouncer. His hand should be the same size as his head and Would work like in the old game Rayman as he has no petruding limbs. Hope you like.

getting Dave ready for Animation

I have been thinking about how we are actually going to animate.. I reckon the simplest and best way to do it will be to use flash.

Here I have sketched out Dave in Pencil then spent the next few hours using the pen tool and layers in Illustrator to colour and define all the different parts of Dave.
This Dave should be fairly easy to animate in Flash now. (Obviously gonna need a few more symbols such as eye lids, his other arm with the ring and change of mouth.)

Anyways any feedback is welcome and if anyone has any other ideas of different animation techniques let me know..... see you all tomorrow init

CONCEPT ART

There's an explanation to all this on my blog. Bit of a mish mash of styles. Well, actually more of a sutble genious infusion of artistic talents.

For the backgrounds; Fritz the Cat gets off with Bernard Buffet
For the characters; Quentin Blake breeds with Tim Hope

The line style will be a bit wonky, a bit naive. And the colours bold and 60s/70s. But excluding the lime green tye dye stuff.

Guess which one is henson and which one is dave?

Nope, other way around. I think it would be funnier if Henson was the smaller one in a tie. And Dave was a bit of a moustache wearing, hairy armed, all bark no bite.....dipstick.

That's right. I played on your expectations!.. AND TURNED IT ON IT'S HEAD!!
